2-Day Photography Workshop
Fossil Rim is offering a 2-day photography workshop on Saturday October 10th and Sunday October 11th. The workshop will consist of the following: 3 to 4 hour classroom session which will cover different aspects of wildlife photography taught by Barry Baker, a digital phtography instructor at UT-Arlington; a tour conducted during dusk for the best light possible; dinner at Safari Camp; evaluation of the dayâs photos by the instructor; an overnight stay in a tented cabin at Fossil Rim's Foothills Safari Camp; breakfast at Safari Camp; a tour conducted during dawn for the best light possible; sack lunch; dismissal.
The tours will go through Fossil Rimâs 1700 acre pastures. There are 59 species of animals here at Fossil Rim. Some of the animals that you may photograph are white rhinoceros, blackbuck, European red deer, gemsbok, zebras, addax, waterbuck, giraffe, sable, aoudad and greater kudu, just to name a few.
