It is likely that the Picture of the Day will suffer, I have a few posts already in the hopper of things I took recently to share but the last of those is scheduled to post on the 27th of this month. I am concerned that with two soccer matches and three football games on the weekends. And an average crop of 200-500 images per game I will be busy processing pics all week, just to get these processed and out in a timely manner. I will be sharing some of those with you as we go, so please forgive me if the Picture of the day lags.
The Piture of the Day has been a great running thread on the blog and one I have enjoyed. More importantly it has kept me shooting and growing as a photographer during the recent lull. A few good things came from the Picture of the Day, one of which I will share now but it will not be completely ready for a while. I am putting together my first photographic book. The working title is "Just Beside the Road". I'll share more on that as it nears completion, however don't look for it until next year or the year after. It will take some time to get the images I am looking for.
Looking forward to being on the sidelines again but I will miss the time I have spent capturing a different prospective.
On another note the site-redesign is nearly complete, I was just about finished the other day and then I scrapped the whole thing for another idea. I think it will eb a great improvement over the current site.
