About the ‘Canon Speedlite Intensive’ Workshop
Workshop Outline*
• Monday â€" Canon Speedlite 101: The how and why of getting your Speedlite off your camera, the basics of manual flash, basic light modification, setting Speedlite Custom Functions
• Tuesday â€" Canon Speedlite 102: Decoding E-TTL, Intro to wireless, multi-light set-ups,
• Wednesday â€" Shooting on location
• Thursday â€" High-speed Sync: how to dim the sun and split time
• Friday â€" Gang Light: taking virtually every Speedlite we can get our hands on and firing them off simultaneously
* Workshop Outline is subject to change at the discretion of PRW and the instructor â€" based upon location availability, weather and student resources.
Tuition â€" $1,450 â€" includes 5-day workshop, location and model fees, lunch daily and class dinner. Not included: transportation, lodging, breakfasts and dinners (other than PRW-hosted class dinner). An installment plan is available for tuition payments.

Enrollment â€" This workshop is limited to 15 students.
Skill Level â€" Novice-plus to Advanced, Students must be familiar with the basics of digital photography and their Canon DSLR. You need not be versed in the use of Canon Speedlites.
Portfolio Review â€" A portfolio review is required for admission. For details click here.
Camera Gear â€" Required: Canon DSLR, wide-angle to short-telephoto lenses, at least one Canon Speedlite (with rechargeable batteries and charger). Optional: more Canon Speedlites, small light stands, modifiers, radio triggers
Computer Gear â€" laptop with Lightroom or Bridge/Photoshop. You will want to be able to get your best images collected for daily critiques.

Enrollment â€" This workshop is limited to 15 students.
Team Structure â€" Students will work in teams of 3 on location shoots â€" with each student rotating through the position of photographer, grip and model / assistant.
