Drew Gardner

Over the last year I have explored literally thousands of photographers works and websites. I have watched videos and just generally opened my mind to all that is being done and has been done in photography lately. Problem is I haven't even touched (to use a phrase from the day job) a statistically relevant sample.

In my wanderings I have encountered the work of Drew Gardner. Probably the first image of his that I associated with his name is the "Water Buffalo" which you can find on his website, along with the rest of the Forest series at http://www.drewgardner.co.uk/ Look under Epic Fashion and then the forest. The image just grabbed my attention, and no it wasn't the model it was the entire image. Here is a copy of a video that has been shared around the web about another image in that set, the one with the badgers.

Another of his sets that caught my eye was the Descendants. As a former teacher of history and lover of things old I was intrigued by the resemblances he was able to locate and or recreate in his subjects.

While you are on his site take a look at his other images...
