Picture of the Day

I decided I was getting lazy, so to make myself try new things and get out and shoot I set a goal of one new image a day for a month.  To that end I slung my bag on my shoulder and off to work I went.  On the way over to the cafeteria at lunch I noticed the lines in this image and decided to come back that evening.  When I returned I was able to make this image.  

It was shot on my 40D at 18mm with f8.0 1/250 sec at ISO 100.  The post production was done using a trial version of the Nix software and photoshop.  I am happy with the way it came out.  Look for another tomorrow.
