Morning folks. Though I'd put up a quick note for you, I'm off to Dilly's Mill Scout Camp with my step-son. This is his first Weblos Weekend. I think I may be more excited about it than he is, mainly because I used to work at the camp when I was a scout. Yes I was a Boy Scout...to be more exact I was an Eagle Scout (Eagle Class of '88). Back during the summers of 1989 and 1990 I worked for the camp and became a very active in the Order of the Arrow. Both of those summers I served on the ceremonial team and was offered a position on the Dance Team. I declined the Dance Team invitation but did enjoy doing the ceremonial team work.
Well this weekend I return to old haunts but this time around my camera will be going with me and hopefully I will be able to bring back some images of that wonderful camp and relive a few memories of my own. Don't worry about the blog though, I've stocked the larders and placed a few posts on auto release for you so you will still get updates about workshops and other events around the country.
My parting shot for the weekend is a quote from Mark Twain.
"You can't depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus."
Think that one through and apply it to your photography. 'Till I return from camp...keep the shutters click'n!
