Photography Field Trip to Italy with Kenny Kim

Kenny Kim is planning an awesome trip to Italy and he wants you to come along.  I learned about this one before all the details were finalized but Kenny was kind enough to send me a mail the other morning with updated information and a link to the registration pages.

For those of you who do not follow Kenny on the blog or know him from some other way he just recently took a trip to Italy.  During the trip he was so excited by the country and the images he saw there that he wanted to share it with others.  Wheels turned and Kenny has organized a workshop for us all to take part in.

The eight day workshop will cover some wonderful parts of that beautiful country.  Take a look at the itinerary he has planned:

Day 1 - September 7th - Monday - Arrival

Arrive to Rome “Fiumicino - Leonardo da Vinci international Airport (FCO)”

Visiting Viterbo, Tuscania & Civita Di Bagnoregio

Lunch & Dinner provided

Day 2 - September 8th  - Tuesday

Visiting Orvieto, underground tour, various locations for photo opportunities.

Breakfast & Dinner provided

Day 3 - September 9th  - Wednesday

Visiting Narni, underground church tour, Spello

Breakfast & Dinner provided

Day 4 - September 10th  - Thursday

Visiting Assisi, Wine tasting at the famous Montefalco winery, Spoleto

Breakfast & Dinner provided

Day 5 - September 11th  - Friday

Visiting Norcia, Castelluccio di Norcia, Labro, and model bride & groom photoshoot inside a castle

Breakfast & Dinner provided

Day 6 - September 12th  - Saturday

Visiting Chianti region, Siena, Monteriggioni region

Breakfast & Dinner provided

Day 7 - September 13th  - Sunday

Visiting San Galgano (mysterious roofless church), small villages throughout Tuscany and various landscapes and close out the night in Monterggioni

Breakfast & Dinner provided

Day 8 - September 14th  - Monday - Farewell

Journey back to Rome stopping at various locations along the way for photoshoot opportunities. Breakfast & Lunch provided.

I'm already jealous of all the folks that will get to see this wonderful country with Kenny.  My ex-wife went while we were married and due to work I was left to stare at the pictures and wish I cold have got the time off.  Alas my schedule now is just as unforgiving and I will not be able to go...besides if I went and left Shan and the kids at home to go take pictures in Italy I would probably have to get a new place to live when i got back.
